NBA scouts only care about if you can play. Demarcus Cousins is a head case, and Ron Artest went into the stands. Both guys are in the NBA gainfully employed. TU not shaking hands in the pre game will not affect his Draft status imo. If he does or does not get drafted it will be based on his play or projected value.

Also, why would anybody ask Swampy about if a kid is good enough to play in the NBA. That's like asking Gregory where you can get the best deals at the big and tall store.

Chris Wright has not gotten better during his time at UD. His stats are not very impressive (since he was touted as "the second coming by UD fans") and he is not likely to make an NBA roster. He can still make a decent living over seas though.

I believe he was referring to the pregame handshake. His post was actually in more of a blog format, and the handshake comment came prior to tip.

Swampy's hometown bias is too strong to ever be taken seriously as a professional journalist. If all he's doing is writing a blog for UD fans, then so be it. But purposefully misspelling names like "Freeze" and hating on opponents at any given opportunity isn't something you typically see out of credentialed members of the press.

In short, he's an avid, Xavier-hating UD fan who writes a blog. I don't think he has a whole lot of influence with Chris of NBA.com - and I don't think NBA scouts have a checkbox for "shake hands: yes or no" on their worksheets.

I'll never understand the love Chris Wright continues to receive.

I'm convinced too many people look at "per game" stats. Efficiency matters. Wright is an awfully inefficient player.

Chris Johnson is a much, much better player.

Edit: Pomeroy's stats are old. But right now, Wright has a 96 offensive efficiency rating. He has only shot 5-22 from beyond the arc.

Exactly, from the 400's I could really only see the darker jerseys put the ball in the hoop more then the team with the white jerseys, definitely no more analysis available from that viewpoint. I saw this as well. I especially liked the "Dante and Lyons were taunting the students, so they deserved it" comment.
