Watching the game on the U - listening to fans bitching on Flyer Feedback on WHIO radio. It's awesome.

Bad start but getting better. Let's basically sew up the #1 seeds in both the mens and women's A-10 Tournaments today!

Temple did come out hot early, but both teams have settled down. This should not be a high scoring affair by any means.

This was a hell of a win. A very good Temple team never let up, when the 10 minute mark came and X was just up by a couple I was nervous. Those young women hed Temple to just 2 points over the next 8 minutes.
That was awesome!
Surprising that the game only attracted 1600 people, sad for a town as big as Philly

You think it's hard trying to get Xavier pub in Cincinnati, try breaking through the Philly media.
Are you going to be in attendance at the tournament in Lowell, XUPA? It can't get much closer to your home in Maine.

This game would have drawn 4000+ if it was played at Xavier.

Temple still has players that irritate the heck out of me, so it was a good win to end the season. Ta'Shia and Amber look like they are all ready for the postseason to begin. Katie looked really good on the offensive side of the ball hitting 3-3 from 3. Defense... well that was another story for Katie. Our guards still do some things that make you scratch your head. Is Megan sick or something? She has played very few minutes in the last few games. Only 14 minutes today.

Write this same observation on the A-10 Board and you will get 72,364 reasons why fans simply cannot be expected to attend college basketball games in large numbers in Philly (or the NYC, Boston, RI, etc.) areas. They claim that even though there are 40-11 million people in most of the metro areas of the East, there is too much competition for the entertainment dollar since (Philly, for example) has MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA and 5 D-1 college basketball programs. No amount of logic or simple mathematics will be abided by those people on this issue. The fact that metro Philly is well more than 3 times the size of metro Cincy will not be permitted to be used in our wondering why the usual average attendances at UC and XU games added together exceed that of the five D-1 teams in Philly combined.
It is pathetic!

Easily. If Senior night AND the battle for tops in the A10 had coincided at X the crowd would have been rocking.

You are absolutely right, I'm starting to feel better about our attendance. Our senior day brought over 4500 and it was a GW blowout! Feel good that Cincinnati folk are starting to get it. should be great crowds for rounds 1 and 2!

What was wrong with her defense?

What was wrong with her defense?
Katie is still a little slow with her feet sometimes but she has improved leaps and bounds from last year... She has to give a little space so they don't drive on her and then every once and a while they'll make a three in her eye... All in all though I don't have many complaints.
I honestly think everyone remembers Katier the bad defender and sometimes that has hurt her. I can't remember how many times a ref called a foul on Katie this year and I was in disbelief.. The only reason I can think of for that is because the refs still have that bad defender mentatlity in their head... I dont know though, I think she is pretty solid. Nothing spectacular defensively but solid nonetheless.

Mainly I was referring to her being blown by a couple of times. In her defense though, the player she was defending (Wallace?) is a pretty good player.
