Xavier/Temple winner (1) - 14-0
Xavier/Temple loser (2) - 13-1
Duquesne (3) - 9-5 (3-2) see Note 1
Richmond (4) - 9-5 (2-2) see Note 2
Dayton (5) - 9-5 (2-2) see Note 3
Charlotte (6) - 9-5 (2-2)
St. Bonaventure (7) - 9-5 (2-3)
Saint Joseph's (8) - 7-6
La Salle (9) - 6-8
Fordham (10) - 4-10
George Washington (11) - 3-10
Massachusetts (12) - 3-11

Note 1: Duquesne a 3 seed by virtue of 3-2 record against 9-5 teams
Note 2: Richmond a 4 seed by virtue of 1-0 record vs. Duquesne
Note 3: Dayton a 5 seed by virtue of 1-0 record vs. St. Bonaventure

This is my best guess as to how the A-10 sorts out a 5-way tie for 3rd place. It's obvious that the Xavier-Temple winner gets top honors and the loser gets the #2 seed. Duquesne would be the #3 seed based on a 3-2 record against the 9-5 teams. In order to continue tie-breaking the other seeds, the next tiebreaker becomes best record against individual opponents in the standings. Richmond becomes the 4 seed by virtue of their win over Duquesne (both Dayton and Charlotte lost to the Spiders). Dayton would become the 5 seed because of their win against the Bonnies (Charlotte lost to the Bonnies yesterday). Charlotte then becomes the 6 seed because of their 2-2 record against the group.

Where's the women's equivalent of a Lari Ketner to sort out the mess when you need one?

I didn't check but I'm pretty sure Richmond lost to Dayton..

A10 bracket is up with Dayton a 6 seed and out of our bracket. Charlotte picked up the 5 seed. Glad to see we would not have to match up against Dayton for the third time this season until the finals, they would need to beat Duquesne and Temple. Our first game on Saturday is the winner of St. Joes or LaSalle.

Duquesne was #3 because they had the best record against the Group of 5; St. Bonaventure was assured #7 because of the worst record. The next tiebreaker was record against Xavier; Dayton had the worst record at 0-2 and therefore got the #6 seed. Both Richmond and Charlotte went 0-1 vs. Temple, but Richmond's 1-0 record vs. Duquesne (Charlotte was 0-1) broke the tie between the 2 teams.
