I'd like to use all my votes for Bilas; and he can still bite me.
I don't want to dilute my vote my mentioning someone else.

If "fudge" is still in the broadcasting biz, he heads my list. Others getting my vote would be Bilas, Vitale, Digger, and Davis. I also would like to give Lunardi special mention for working his ass off to get as many Big Least teams as possible into the Dance.

I was going to create more screen names to play by the rules, but I was concerned that Amex might think I was Muddy, or Swampy, or Doppy, or Sleepy, or......

Seth Davis
Billy Packer (bumped down since he retired)
Digger Phelps
Joe Buck
Joe Morgan (Sorry, I'm a Cubs fan, and he clearly hate the Cubs. He's a national guy; it shouldn't be so evident)
Those are my big three college basketball announcers. Then there's a whole bunch of others in a gaggle behind.
I know I'll get hammered by this, but Gus Johnson gets my nerve every now and again. I love him when we are winning, hate him when we are losing, and love him for games in which X isn't playing. So I rarely hate him. Basically I just hate him for the Ohio State game...

Actually you bring up a good point. We should never let Gus do our games in the Dance.
However the KSU game with Gus Johnson is probably one of my most favorite games ever.

While I hated Billy Packer for being an opinionated ass who was ALWAYS in a bad mood... In fairness, I actually found him pretty insightful during games...
While the average color commentator says things like "Duke really needs a defensive stop, here!" ... Packer would say something to the effect of "Duke needs to do a better job recovering to the perimeter from their help-side defense against this high/low attack..." ... I always at least respected him for his ability to diagnose what was really going on in the game.
The one I refuse to watch is Digger Phelps. He provides neither insight nor entertainment. I reached my final straw when he claimed the final AP #1 team is at a disadvantage in the NCAA Tournament because they haven't won it all in awhile. Hmmm... If that's fact, how come it doesn't hold up on the women's side, Digger? Could it be because you media types vote the women's side based on merit and the men's side is based on popularity? Furthermore; what is the statistical impact of last year's #1's on this year's #1? -- Answer: ZERO. Digger basically admitted he has the same strategy as the guy at the roulette wheel who bets on black because the last 3 happened to land on red... The last 3 rolls have no effect on the next roll, dumbass!
Oh and one more thing, Digger... No one tunes in to see what tie/highlighter combination you're wearing... If I did tune in, it would be for basketball, not Queer Eye For the Straight Guy... (EDIT: I was going to go on and say something really inappropriate about Digger using a "brown highlighter" but decided against it... This is a Catholic forum...)

This may change some people's voting, but Dana O'Neil called us Mid-Major in her chat today. Granted she said several other very nice things about us that should cancel that one slip up.
