Once upon a time there was a pussy. (this isn't a scratch and sniff book, right?)
Her name was Mickey.
Mickey was a loud pussy.
Most pussies say meow or purr.
Not Mickey the pussy.
Mickey the pussy was the smallest kitten in the house.
All the other animals were bigger, stronger, and got more attention.
So Mickey thought she had to be louder than the rest, or she might not get fed.
But when Mickey tried to roar, she just sounded like a whiny bitch.
So the other animals continued to play with each other.
Sometimes the other animals would play with Mickey the pussy.
The ruler of the house said they had to.
Some of them had to play with Mickey twice in the same year.
The bigger animals did not like listening to Mickey cry, and beat her up often.
This makes Mickey cry.
She usually blames other things, like lumpy sand in her litter box, or a sore paw.
Mickey likes to pick on the small animals who live down the street.
It makes her feel like a big, strong pussy.
Mickey thinks she is one of the top pussies in the whole neighborhood.
Each year, some of the animals in her house get chosen to play in the big park.
Mickey is never chosen.
And that makes Mickey cry.
Mickey thinks she belongs in the big park with the other animals.
Sometimes Mickey is sent to the little kitty playground.
She doesn't like it, but she goes.
The smaller animals down the street remember Mickey.
They don't like Mickey the pussy.
So they stomp her and send her back home earlier than Mickey was ready to leave.
This makes Mickey cry.
Mickey usually blames the swings and slides.
Mickey is an annoying pussy.
No one wants to be like Mickey.
The end.

If this book was a hard cover it could have won the A10
Finally, the freshman at UC will have a new epic to stumble through after completing Dr. Titzlers epic "My Baby Can Read" video series, which will be handed out at orientation next fall.
