Unforgettable dreams

Shortly before Xavier's Musketeers hosted the Fordham Rams at Cintas Center in what turned out to be a less than memorable XU victory for many reasons, a celebration of 25 years of fellowship, fanaticism and love of our Alma Mater's hoops teams took place at a nearby restaurant.
The Lew Hirt Society, an organization of men and women who live more than 100 miles from the statue of D 'Artagnan on campus, marked 25 years of members following and attending Xavier basketball home and away, placing an advertisement in the XU basketball programs and sponsoring the Lew Hirt Senior post-season basketball award.
The LHS is more than just a casual gathering of alums with a common purpose, more than a group whose mouth piece sometimes receives his marching orders in a dream and far more than any other university's sports programs backers. Members of this society, small in number but huge in enthusiasm can be seen—often in the midst of opponents' rabid partisans—yelling their hearts out for the Musketeers (more here (http://www.xavierhoops.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17929)).
