NBA dunk contest

Right, so if you haven't heard Blake Griffin jumped over the hood of a Kia Optima to win the dunk contest. I readily admit it was...neat. The spectacle with the oop coming through the sunroof and a choir singing 'I Believe I Can Fly' was great. But honestly it wasn't as great as every news outlet is making it out to be. Jumping over the hood of a car isn't terribly difficult. I thought dunking the three balls at once exhibited more skill. Heck, even the pass out of the sunroof exhibited more skill. Nearly every in-game dunk that Blake Griffin throws down is good enough to clear the hood of a car. Not impressed.

He jumped over the hood. Forgive me but for a guy like Griffin that is not impressive. His head is always at rim level or above anyway.

Granted none of it was really exciting.

Serge ibakas dunk from the free throw line was absurd. Dr J and Jordan did not dunk from as far back as Serge did. He got robbed by not getting a 50.

Agreed- though Blakes off the back board elbow dunk was the best of the night IMO (maybe the guy that dunked two balls as that looked like the most difficult dunk)
