Second place battle Thursday night.
Should be a good game. Temple has been very good lately.

This is more than likely Temple's only potential A10 loss the rest of the year. So Let's go Spiders.
We can lose at most one more game and still be a 1 seed in the conference tourney.

For the sake of Xavier's quality win and the conference getting 3 bids, I would like to see Richmond win.

Yeah, I have seen no arguments (as far as what benefits X the most) for Temple winning. Let's hope Richmond can take care of business. I'll be watching. Speaking of which, is this game on TV?

I'll answer my own question. Yes, it is. CBS College Sports Network @ 7pm.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't we prefer Temple as the 2nd or 3rd seed so we don't have to meet them until the finals? We hold the tiebreak against the other 3 likely seeds, and the Dukes and Spiders hold the tiebreak against Temple.

Richmond over Temple and the Temple gets pi$$ed and beats Duke.
Best for the conference and us!

Give me Richmond in this one. They are probably good for one more loss elsewhere. If Richmond wins tonight, then X would have to lose three more games in order to lose a tie breaker with both.
The bigger question is who to root for between ud and Duquesne. I really want Duquesne to lose, but even though ud is no threat to the league's top spot, not sure how to root for them.
I should probably seek Thor's advice to figure out how to root for ud.

I like Richmond in this one.
And a side note. I find it very entertaining that Kevin Anderson wasn't the best player on last year's team and he isn't again this year.

Michael Eric for Temple is out for the year with a torn patella. Posted about a half hour ago on the A10 board. Might have some bearing on how this game goes.

Temple is having their way with Richmond at the moment. 38-26 with 1:30 before half.

Halftime.
Richmond has it under 10 at the half.

I'm guessing no streaming for this.

That UD spot on Wright and Staten was hilarious. I'm tired of UD fans claiming that Staten's dunk on NM was anything to get excited about.

I think this kills Richmonds at-large chances. If they won everything from here on out except the A10 final, a very very rough estimate of their RPI would be mid-50's, at best.

looking like the spiders need to win the A10 right now but they do have the Purdue W and a very, very solid road record. pundits keep saying the bubble is "soft" but the bucknell loss along with these lopsided L's to X and temple is a killer.
temple is a lock with their remaining schedule. losing eric could hurt them in march though.
dukes simply don't have the OOC resume imo but could win in AC.
