Did anyone see that BS right before halftime? I would be livid if I were a Miss St fan.
Ref makes a bonehead call then follows it up with a bonehead T, giving UK four points right before halftime. It was a game changer.

I couldn't believe it when I saw it either!
How in the heck does an official call that a shooting foul?! The kid wasn't even remotely close to being in the act of shooting - Calamari seemed like he was pissing and moaning about everything in the first half - as soon as that foul occurred you could see him motioning that his guy was in the act of shooting - maybe the refs were tired of hearing his sh!t and just gave in and made a boneheaded call...
Apparently Miss St only had 5 team fouls so they were told to foul by Rick Stansbury (at least that's what the announcers said) - what a terrible call and a bad break for MSU...
It's tough enough to win on the road in college basketball - even tougher when you have to beat the officials as well...
Anyone heard if they've filed a complaint about the officials with the SEC?

I doubt Stansbury or MSU makes an issue of it. Stansbury had legit beefs last year, voiced his opinion, and was fined $30K. He said after the game that he learned his lesson last year.

Did anyone listen to Jimmy Dykes defend Renardo Sidney for the entire game? Saying how he deserves another chance and what not. First, Renardo has been given about 5-6 chances. Second, did the kid who got in a fight with Renardo get a second chance? No, he had to transfer. I had never heard someone defend a dumber kid ever.

I was at the game and although I really didn't care one way or another who won I was extremely pissed at the officiating during that sequence. the player with the ball jumped when he was fouled but jumped sideways with his left side facing the end of the court with the basket. If he was shooting he had to try to shoot over his left shoulder from half court. How that can be considered shooting I still don't know. When Stansbury called him out on it I think the official knew he screwed up and called a T to tell Stansbury "You will respect my authority!" If a referee is confident in his call then a coach getting upset is not going to affect you. It is when you screw up and your called out on it that the insecurity usually comes out in the form of a T. The T was extremely quick and what Stansbury did certainly didn't warrant it especially since Stansbury was backing up away from the referee.
