Not only that, but Nancy Gates only played a minute in the 2nd half. He was looking listless during timeouts and got booed loudly when he was inserted into the game late in the 2nd half.

One thing is clear now - Gates has been thrown under the bus AND the Sherman tank for good reason. If UC does make the NCAAs it won't be because of Nancy and her yeast infection.

Turns out I was half right earlier - Gates actually tried to go into the game in the 2nd half like he was Rade Butcher in Hoosiers before the crowd booed him and he was called back to the bench.

Gates had a reputation for being lazy and immature in highschool. Unfortunately for UC I don't think Gates has matured. It will be interesting to see how Mick handles this going forward. UC needs Gates in order to have any chance in their remaining games. If UC goes into a tailspin, Cronin would have to be concerned for his job.

Anybody think its all wine and roses in the Cintas locker room all the time? I believe that CMack has had to handle some issues, but he nips them in the bud.

Good coaches communicate with their players- the good and the bad- and don't let things get to a boiling point. There might be a time when things are too far gone- like with Spears in Charlotte that was blatant insubordination- but bad coaches like Sippin' MIck and "Dr." Giannni can't solve issues or they act like its a manhood insult. That's why their teams continually slide down the chute.

Hey, Nancy is a lazy slug, but Cronin's act of throwing guys like Deonte Vaughan under the bus doesn't buy him much credibility.

I hate UC with a passion. I hope they go winless ever year. I have really enjoyed watching the post Huggins era and really hope UC tanks the remaining 6 games leaving no doubt that they do not deserve an at large bid.

I don't think Mick is the right guy to get UC "back" but I do think he is their best option so I really want to see him get fired, which in my opinion, will set the program back another 5 years.
