thanks for posting that Sponge, I saw it on the site this AM but it was a deadlink, well worth the read.
I encourage everyone who frequents this site not only to read this story, but also to send a comment to the Enquirer and thank them for the story. This "feature" is the kind of story that gets published about sports players/teams on a regular basis, but very very seldom about women athletes and their teams. It's refreshing to see, and has been frustrating waiting for it. Drop an email to Shannon who is the Xavier beat, or to the author Kevin Kelly at kkelly@cincinnati.com you can also leave a comment if you're registered with cincinnati.com or friend them on facebook and leave a comment.
Thanks to the enquirer!

Great story. Best wishes to that young lady, and I'm glad she's in safe place with the X program.

This is a great account of Lynette's story. I knew some but not all of the details. What a tremendous story of resiliency. I wish her the best in her Xavier career and beyond.

The term "Xavier family" is a very fitting one for both basketball programs, and it is definitely the case for Lynnette in this case. Best of luck to her during her career at Xavier as well as the rest of her life as she moves forward.
