I obviously want to win the A-10- but I was hoping they would be undefeated going into the game. It would make the win look all the better.

I disagree strongly.

I'm glad they lost in that it gives us a better chance to win the conference again, but I don't like the fact that they now have a week to prepare for us after they lost. Meanwhile, we have to travel down to Georgia for a tough game.

Fair point, but it can work both ways: we play Tuesday, which provides enough rest to be prepared for next Saturday.
An entire week layoff for them can bring them in rested and sharp or rested and less than sharp.
Sounds good to me anyway.

I certainly like the breathing room that the Duquesne loss gives.

I strongly agree with you. We are in need of quality wins and have very few remaining opportunities, so I wanted our win at Duquesne to look as good on paper as possible. The more the Dukes lose, the less important that game becomes for at large consideration and/or seeding.

I just want to win the damn conference outright. none of this "shared" nonsense. This is our flagship, everyone else is just a scuff on the deck.

Even better, Dash, the game is on Sunday afternoon.

Let us thank Cincinnatian Michael Davenport for making a deep three with 1.6 seconds left to give Bona the win, and for the coaching of former XU assistant Mark Schmidt for taking down the Dooks.

DUquense sure they have been doing great. But, they have an RPI 74 SOS 130. After their lost to bonnies they wont be getting any top 25 votes. I want to win this conference outright, and have more breathing room. This will be a great win for X. But by some it might be "wow, you lost to duquense. " And if we win it will be "so what you beat Duquense?"
