How on earth have they followed up a 13-0 in the non-conference with a 1-7 start in C-USA?!? That's baffling.

They didn't play anybody in the non-con except Fla.

Plus, they played almost every single game @ home. BTW, Season tickets are $96.

And to top it off they got DeMarcus Smith to commit for football.

Oh wait, this is a basketball board.

Maybe, but they're in C-USA. Can it really be THAT different from the non-conference opponents?

UMass was their toughest game besides Fla.

Miami's not too bad. USF is probably as good as most C-USA teams.

14-0 to 0-7 is nuts.

USF is 8-15. Miami maybe a little better.

USF is 2-9 against Big East teams. USF stinks, clearly, but so do Houston, Rice and ECU. They'd likely be 8-15 if they were in the Big East, too.

It's not like these guys were playing Prairie View A&M and are all of a sudden playing Duke.

Well I've seen them several times this yr. and never was impressed. Very porous D and get beat constantly in transition with no improvement game to game. They remind me of Dayton, very good athletes, not a lot of bb skills.

You assume UCF is a real university...not just a gigantic night school for Disney employees
