Yes, but Baron coaches at URI. He's obviously not been great, but I think he's been adequate. He should have had them in the NCAAs a couple of times, but I don't think he should get fired.

I understand why URI fans are probably frustrated, though.

At URI his job was to take them to the NCAA. He has failed. Choked multiple times. They have a fine arena and the northeast is short on good programs to recruit against. He should be gone.

Jimmy Baron has built some good teams at SBU and URI, but nobody's ever told him that basketball's played on both ends of the court. His defenses ALWAYS suck really bad, and it's clear he doesn't put any emphasis on playing D to his teams because they are never any better than awful on that end.
