I do have to give some props to Amodio and Duquesne for doing now what Xavier did almost 30 years ago. Dig in, commit to the basketball program, and make it happen. Duquesne is seeing the results of that commitment. Maybe it just took an X guy to make it happen. I suppose Charlotte will be next with Major at the helm...

Charlotte is going all-in on football. I sincerely doubt they are in the A-10 in 3 years' time. Probably back to CUSA for all sports, if I had a bet.

Then perhaps St. Bonaventure will be next with Schmidt at the helm. Seems Xavier is taking over the conference in more ways than one. How long until the entire conference has ex-Xavier guys as coaches and/or AD's?
