Which seeds are in the "play-in" games?
Are these considered 1st round games?... If a team wins a play-in game, and then wins a 1st round game, does that team get double 1st round payouts?

It can be whatever the NCAA wants them to be - one bracket could have a pair of 12s playing and another a pair of either 11s or 13s.
But don't expect teams to get units for winning play-in games; that was never the case for the play-in participants in Dayton.

Two of the 16 seed games are "play ins"
The other two "play in" game seeds are yet to be determined, since we don't know what seed the last four at large teams will merit.
Hope that wasn't too confusing.
I am not sure about the payout. Also, teams don't get a payout for winning tourney games. Conferences do. And they split it equally amongst their teams. So every game Xavier wins helps prop up Fordham, LaSalle, Brian Gregory etc.
