Close but no cigar. Bob Knight and the 1976 Hoosiers will have to keep the champagne on ice for at least one more game.

Yeah but I also hate Northwestern. They are an example of everything that is wrong with college basketball. Because they have a BCS football team they get a presumption of being a quality basketball team, yet they have never been to an NCAA tournament.

I hate it when they show teams records v. the BCS. Just because you beat Northwestern, Iowa, Penn St., and Auburn does not make you a good team. Leave the pathetic mess that is the BCS in football and out of basketball.

All it takes is one team to be better than OSU on any given night. If it doesn't happen in the Big 10, then Kansas, Duke, Texas and other 1 and 2 loss teams will have their crack at Beak's Boys. They will lose at some point. It just takes one.

Personally, I enjoyed the the student section wearing shirts that read, "All we do is win." Thought that was interesting. They've never been to an NCAA tournament and until recently were always a door mat in the big ten.

I guess my dream for Ohio State would be for them to run the table and then lose in the second round against the 8/9 seed. That would be outstanding.

I think it would be awesome if we delivered OSU their first loss.

It's not out of the question to think that the entire recent XU coaching lineage could find themselves in the Elite 8. Snark at these coaches if you want, but they got their bones at Xavier and laid down their own mark of success within the program and outside of it.
