La Salle and St. Joe's are playing tonight because of last night's snowstorm.

Well,
Miami wins
IPFW wins
Wofford wins

Michigan St is gonna lose....that is 8 losses....they still have to go to Wisconsin and Ohio St and Michigan.....also have illinois purdue and penn st at home.

They could be in trouble.

Edit....and no Korie Lucious who is suspended for the year

michigan state started off the season ranked #2, which is typical.

they then lost some early games, and fell down in the rankings (well, actually fell out, which is typical).

they'll probably pick up a big win or two between now and the end of the year, and play their way into a position to where they're not sweating on selection sunday, but aren't looking at getting a top two or three seed, but be seeded 5th, 6th or 7th. that's pretty typical for michigan state.

after that, they will then likely advance to the final four...which is typical for them. deja vu all over again.

i'm half kidding, but since 2003 they've made two final fours, and an additional elite eight, and were seeded 5th or worse each time after being ranked ridiculously high early in the season.

And Lasalle gets the edge over the hawks.

I checked the A10 site, and get this, St Joes is having a more futile season than Fordham. I'll let that sink in.

Yes, someone is having a worse season than Fordham. Both are 0-6 in conference but Fordham has 6 overall wins and Hawk Hill only 5. The hawk may never die, but it's season is in ICU.

Remember when they were competetive? Olean welding and LaSuck are just happy that it looks like they won't have to sweat out being on the bubble. The A 10 tourney bubble.

Why does it seem like every time some programs in this conference improve that some quality programs will just drop? What t he hell has happened to SJU and Charlotte?

Charlotte blew themselves up to get better under a new head coach. It's the right move, but it sucks for them this year.

Don't know about St. Joe's -- I have to figure it's recruiting to some extent?

I was talking about Charlotte in a larger sense. They have been pretty useless since coming to the A10.

They absolutely have fallen off the cliff since coming to the A10. I can remember back in their battery chucking glory years, they were a formidable team battling with tHuggy's bearkitten squads every year.
