The YTG actually did not blame others after losing today...Im confused..

“I told our guys I take the blame for the loss,” said UC coach Mick Cronin. “Much has been made of our schedule, but I really thought two of those games in particular because of the rivalry situations would be dogfights. In retrospect, it affected us not being in a dogfight until today.”

Granted he sort of took a shot at us and Dayton but I must admit I went on the enquirer site looking for a bunch of excuses....

Yeah it was a shot at us, but hey, we deserve it with that effort. All in the past now.

Look at it the other way - it also sounds, maybe, sort of, kind of, almost, like, I don't know, might, maybe, kind of, sort of, admitting THEY HAVEN'T PLAYED ANYONE this season, until today. (And, I'm sorry, but with that mailed in performance our guys gave on Thursday, we have to include ourselves on the UC Pastry Cart OOC schedule) And that their weak azz scheduling came back to haunt them.

But - on the bright side, I DID try that $5 haircut at Sports Clips they talk about on the back of the ticket stubs. They even gave me a free upgrade to MVP: So, for $5 I got: Haircut, got to watch the Bearcats lose on TV, a massaging shampoo, got to watch the Bearcats lose on TV, while sitting in a message chair, while watching the Bearcats lose on TV, with a nice hot steam towel to the face, while watching the Bearcats lose on TV, then a neck and back massage, while watching the Bearcats lose on TV. What a deal!

Just wait the excuses will come. He's got Syracuse, ND and St. John's all on the road in the next 10 days. As losses mount so will the excuses.

On another note, did anyone catch the local Cincy TV news tonight? They made sure to point out how bad Rhode Island is and made sure to point out how good Villanova is and how they have only lost once. Does UC have the local media on payroll?

Wait, what? Nova's a bigger game, but he thought we'd put up more of an effort?

Good Lord.

So we aren't that big of a deal, however we didn't help him when the bigger deal came around.

What an asshat.

WVXU this morning covered UC and Miami but made no mention of Xavier. An NPR station formerly operated by Xavier should at least give our score. I don't even bother with our TV news channels and their slobbering coverage of the kittehs.

I've stopped monitoring Cincinnati media from behind the Iron Curtain.

My mental state has positively increased Tenfold.

Screw 'em. We do what we do. Nobody ouside of Hamilton County cares anyway.- especially recruits. All I know is that we get 10,000 every game and SucKS needed us to get their first five-finger crowd of the year.

Let 'em slobber over their 5 minutes of fame. Order will be restored.

Serves you right for listening to NPR.

So with the Bearcats losing, you could say there was also a happy ending included, all for $5.

I was going to say the same thing but would have probably been called a right wing ass.

YTG didn't blame the refs for losing the game -- instead he blamed Xavier and Dayton. I suppose that's an improvement.
