I thought Derek Kellog would be a good hire for them but so far he has been a bust.

Wait - didn't Kellog say that Umess might roll through the A-10?

Wasn't this the squad that was leading ud at half and late into the game? Heck, ud only won by 2.

Want the poster boy for a bad college basketball coach?
Name- Derek Kellogg. Can't decide what style he wants to play and gives his players waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much freedom. A little structure would be nice and just an occasional emphasis on something called Defense.
And Umess. Nothing like going back and taking the recommendation of your slimey former coach who left you in the lurch- twice (first Bruiser then Kellogg) and getting stuck with horrible coaches. Don't you realize that Calamari is just pimping his guys so they'll get paid and he won't have to eventually fire them? Don't you get the fact that if Calamari really valued them that he may not want to lose them so quickly?
They deserve everything they have gotten in Amherst- except for how Travis Ford slinked out on them.

UD only beat CCSU by 2. CCSU had a game winning three opportunity and missed. This either tells me that the A-10 is really down this year or CCSU isn't actually that bad.

Fixed that for you.
The only A-10 team that lost to Seton Hall- and the Seton Hall without Hazell- was UMess- by 25 in Amherst.

Thanks MOR, you're right. That's awful.

CCSU? Here is a rule of thumb on losses. If a typical basketball fan doesn't know the team nickname or conference affiliation, it is a bad loss.

I think that's kind of a silly rule of thumb, and represents a rationale so many Xavier fans cry over.

CCSU has lost to Albany and Fair. Dickinson. That is all you need to know about them.
