I guess Morrison was using his "gamesmanship" on Cage throughout the game by dropping little racial remarks. I think Burrell actually got into it with him for a minute too. Either way, I can say that after that game, none of our players were Adam Morrison fans by any means.

I heard the same thing then by some fairly reliable sources as well. Fact is, Morrison is a total douchebag. I'm glad his ass got cut in the NBA while our NCAA player of the year is a two-time all star.

One's true character is shown when they face the kind of adversity that they have no faced before. Oden showed he was a punk. Morrison showed he was a racist prick. Both are eating their fair share of karma with how their careers are going.

I've had some respect for Gonzaga, but I want their gym to explode in frustration when we spank them.

Sometimes I imagine Butler and Gonzaga fans as wearing a velvet robe and smoking a pipe in a big leather chair with a fire in the back while they read Charles Dickens between the radio timeouts of the basketball games. delete "leather chair" and replace with "Laz-y-boy orange cloth recliner."

delete "fire in the back" and replace with "fake plastic fireplace that blows those plastic flames."

I love the butthurtness coming form their Xavier thread! However, I must say they don't seem as righteous as the Butler board, and there seemed to be some realistic discussion going on over there. I like that and I like Jesuit institutions. Just not on gameday...:logo:

A bit unfair to say for Oden- I feel bad for the guy. He cant seem to catch a break with his injuries. At least Morrison had a chance but his play was just horrible- Oden has been to injury prone to have much of a chance.

I lived in the pacific northwest for 3 years and I had my fill with the people up there. They just don't understand our language. They have a completely different sense of humor and are wayyyyyy to PC for my taste. In the mid-west most of us use the language of sarcasm, rip on each other, and jokingly challenge the manhood of our friends all in good fun. In the pacific northwest this is completely lost on them as a culture and they are fine with that (most of them claim to understand sarcasm - they do not). The only redeeming quality from up there was the food (excellent seafood),the landscape(beautiful mountains and coastline), the weather in the summer (no humidity), and other transplants from back east. In the winter you rarely see the sun and God shows his wrath towards the people there in the form of Chinese water torture from the sky... Which is almost as annoying as most of their personalities. I have to share the main thing that bugged me the most about the culture up there: Rarely did I find someone in the business world with anything other than a dead fish handshake. They also seem to have an aversion to making eye-contact in conversations. Albeit the lack of eye contact could be due to the Chinese water torture or looking at my ugly mug.

The typical NW "Man" is exemplified by Chris from south park.
