Interesting. We play at Stanford in just under 2 weeks.

At first glance, it would appear that DePaul just had a really hot shooting night (they shot 59%), but I really do not believe that Stanford is as good as they were last year. They lost the big girl Jayne Appel, and are now forced to play people out of position to compensate. They also lost their best defending guard as well. Also, I've noticed that when Stanford gets even slightly challenged by a team (a close game), they have a tendency to get rattled.

That score was a huge shock. #2/3 knocked off by a barely ranked team.

I'm not sure about Stanford. I really think the big girl last year was so beat up by the end of the season that she was just an after thought to the team in the NCAA's.
That's why I think this years version is just as good, that they really didn't lose anything.
I wish I had seen the DePaul game to get a good look at how they handled playing from behind, something they haven't had to do very often in recent memory.

suffice to say, they are not invincible, I think alot of people are thinking that their matchup with UConn at the end of the month will be the game of the year, and the only real chance in the regular season for UConn's streak to come to and and, now I wonder what the experts are thinking?

I'm shocked - at least in terms of what I saw last year when DePaul played Vandy at the Cintas Center during the NCAA Tournament.

How does a defensive team like Stanford give up 91 to anybody, much less the Blue Demons?
