Boy Wake Forest is really bad....watched the whole 2nd half.
Ari Stewart could be a heck of a 3man for the Xavier Musketeers right now.

Xavier hasn't exactly handled the "cupcakes" so far at home, but Wake is clearly the worst team X has played at home this year. A big win that allows some of the younger guys to play some relatively stress-free minutes would be nice.

X should be able to get the bench into this game early and often. If not against Wake then probably not going to happen until St Joe or GW.

The higher the expectation, the longer the fall.
Lets not expect things until they actually happen...or else some on here could be calling for a coach's head over their own failed expectations.

"The Deacons, one of the best shooting teams in the ACC, hurt themselves by missing 11 free throws and nine of their 12 attempts from beyond the 3-point arc. They also committed 18 turnovers, which allowed UNC Greensboro to hang around despite shooting just 36 percent from the floor in the first half and 41 for the game."

Based on the luck of the Muskies, Wake will go 15 for 15 from the FT line before missing. Hopefully, Xavier's defense will continue to be tough in the half court and our rebounding solid on both ends of the court. We'll need a lot of offensive rebounds so that we can make up for potentially bad luck continuing from the field.

Um, IPFW and Wofford took us to overtime at home and we lost to Miami on the road. We should be taking nothing for granted.

While I do agree, I think all 3 of those teams would beat Wake. Maybe even all three by double digits.

When we win by 1 point in triple overtime (or God forbid lose!!!) I am going to blame you for jinxing the game!!!!!
