I guess Wake is just not that good this year.

I know we want them to be better than this for RPI purposes, but we have some major events going on that weekend -- almost want a homecoming-type game (a win).

Wake also barely beat Iowa, which is really our only dominating win to date. They should really not give us a game at all, and will be a good indication of our progress if me can manage to thump them, as we should at home.

Wake is terrible this year. Basically X has a weak schedule due to A-10 teams underperforming and some non conference teams having down years. The Zags have talent but they have some serious issues and it has prevented them from winning any games against good competition. Still going to be a difficult game for X but it is not going to be the RPI boost it could have been, assuming X is able to win. FL is solid and GA might be ok but again nothing special. Temple and Richmond will likely be the best teams X plays.

I would say that Old Dominion is pretty good.

Yeah, this has turned out to be a weak schedule for Xavier...though it couldnt have come at a better time. Old Dominion would have been a top 25 RPI win for X. tough one to lose.
also, I wish gonzaga could pull out a couple W's against those top 25 teams. They have been close too- which really stinks because it appears to be a game we "should" win based on the record but they are a much better team then record shows IMO
