Wow. Just wow. It seems like only a couple of years ago when they were the hot team and Hobbs was the next big thing in the coaching ranks.

Yep... thats what happens when high expectations and continued poor results occur. The fan base can quickly drop out.

However, the market is also flooded. It's not like here in Cincinnati or, more so, Columbus. You only have one or two universities that compete (D-I, at least). In DC, you have GW, the Redskins, the Capitals, the Wizards, and Georgetown to name a few. Hard to compete when you're not winning and the others have something going for them.

That's just the pro market in DC - let's not forget that Maryland and Georgetown are the cream of the college crop. GW, George Mason, and American are other programs that have had recent success as well.

GW is a boarding school. They suck. Most expensive school in the country and they don't have the rankings to back it up.

Pa....

See, that certain school that plays in the woods has a lot further to go before they really hit rock bottom!

But less than 1,000 for a men's game at a D1 program from a well respected conference. (Okay,I may be reaching). Yikes! And not that long ago it seemed they were getting dance invitations on a semi regular basis.
