.....Or in Cancun.
With all due respect, Go, it just means that a crappy A-10 team beat a crappy Big Greased team.

This is LaSuck we're talking about. Them beating a crappy MAAC team is huge. A win against a crappy Big East team calls for a parade.

LaSalle seems to be bringing it together. They could possibly enter conference play with only 3 losses. That would give them wins over a solid Morgan St, OK st, and Rider. One of those has already happened along with Providence so it is a big help to the conference. The 3 losses would be to Baylor, Missouri, and Nova.

I will say that LaSalle has an outside shot at beating Mizzou tomorrow. Mizzou has an unreal amount of talent but don't know how to play with each other yet and therefore could beat or lose to anyone on any given night.

LaSalle should have been solid last year, but they had a significant number of injuries and it was a perfect storm/lost season scenario. I predict a top 5 finish in the league this year.

Lossalle reverted to form last night losing to Mizzou by 12.

However, just like the Baylor game, they made it interesting until about the last 4 minutes. I can tell you that all of the Mizzou fans I was watching with were nervous most of the game. Hopefully they can keep improving and show up for a full 40 minutes and get some big wins (except when they play us).

La Salle will beat Xavier if they can play an up-tempo out-of-control game for 40 minutes.
La Salle will lose to Xavier if they slow down and play a half-court offense.
Simple as that.

What is "simple as that" is that LaSalle should have never been invited into this conference, but, having made it in, should have been kicked out about 5 years ago.
Every year we hear or read about LaSalle coming around and we all know how that always turns out. Especially one year when they cost Thornton the balance of his career at Xavier.

I can't disagree that LaSalle should get booted but if they do have a strong year and are able to maintain it then I say let them stay. It would be great if they can improve the A-10 RPI this year. If they do struggle again then I say they have had enough chances and lets give them the boot. They should of course take Fordham with them.

Great point. Nothing says guaranteed win like "out of control."

Here's the problem: LaSalle maintaining anything is not likely, because their program is weak - low funding, terrible facilities and they are the third wheel (same city wise) in our conference.
Here's another big problem: there's an echo in here: THEY'RE THE THIRD TEAM IN THE SAME CITY of three teams that reside in this conference. The BE would never make that mistake. We don't need and we shouldn't have 3 teams in one city, especially one this poorly positioned.
Finally, they've had plenty of chances - many plenty of chances.
Otherwise, I couldn't agree more about them taking Fordham with them.
