That's some All-Star talent right there, especially with Marvelous filling in for the retired Dick Enberg. I guess ESPN wasn't going to allow Jay Bilas to do games for CBS and TBS/TNT/TruTV this year.

Still get chills listening to that game. Gus is the man, no better than him.
The 1:20 mark is the best part of that video. God, I couldn't help but laugh and clap still.
I was remarking to several folks about that game, but I cannot be upset with that game. Sure, it was disappointing, but we played our hearts out. It wasn't like Xavier played terrible and that was one of the best games, ever.

Gus is great for big shots. Other than that, he is a mediocre at best announcer. Everytime I watch a game with him, I spend half the time thinking he either isn't watching the game or just truly does not understand the game being played.
However, on a big shot like Crawford's, you can not have a better call than Gus's.

I know some people on here aren't big fans of Jay Bilas, for good reason, but I'm surprised he isn't doing March Madness this season. I think he's one of the best during March.

Actually that 's what I like about him. I don't need some talking head blathering stats and theories, just announce what's there is front of you.
