I am hoping to catch this game over someone's computer during class. I know, I'm a terrible student, but alas, it's Xavier basketball. It all comes down to whether or not my partner in crime decides to bring his laptop.

It'd be fun to do a gathering for a women's game. It could at least be a reason to get together, drink, and root for X. Anyone interested?

DO they every do Double-headers anymore? I'd be more inclined to go to the Women's game on a saturday afternoon head to Danas for a dinner (or somewhere else) and then come back for the Men's tilt at 8?

Ah, that would be a GREAT weekend (assuming they both resulted in wins).

But how about we get you down off that administrative tower and drag you to a women's game anyways. Chances are - at leas this year - they'll be the first team to go to a Final Four out of both the programs.

That's exactly what I was thinking... McGuff is known for defense and rebounds and even against South Carolina our defense didn't look too good and today it just looks horrible. Granted, there probably making an abnormal amount of 3 point shots but still this is sad. Hopefully the girls finish strong!

Xavier defense is very poor, but, I doubt that Michigan will shoot that well in many games.

D-II and D-III do doubleheaders, but only on rare occasions do they so for D-I men and women. Xavier will always schedule one in the afternoon and one in the evening should both teams have the same home date.

On the bright side, X appears to be pulling away again - currently 83-73 X.

and the win,,, well done. faced a little adversity. Just like last year teams seem to get unusually hot from 3. But a few years agi that would sink XU, now it appears they;ve learned to deal with it. I like how they adjusted to UM's D in the 1st half by taking the perimeter game, and then in the 2nd half to adjust how they were playing the post.
Offense seemed to click all night long.reounding edge made the game, 36-21 I think.

and gametracker says XU won 38-32, buddy have a drink!

Nice win. I wish I'd been able to watch more of the game but too much to do. It seems as though holiday season is starting early this year for me.

I think the Saturday after Thanksgiving is a double-header. It seems to me there may be another one later in the season, which is unusual.

On a side note, I seriously don't like the Big Ten network. It was nice to see the women in HD but what a load of self-promoting crap! THE premiere basketball conference? When did that happen?
