I think I've asked this before, but I'm looking for some references for a quality handyman.
One project in particular will be repairs to traditional double hung wood windows that will require some carpentry skills. Other various painting and repair projects.
Wondering if any of you have had any such things done and if there's anyone I should look into or avoid.
Looking for quality and reliability as opposed to cheap on this one.

Here is your guy: Jim Hight (753-0753). Extremely conscientious and extremely skilled. In our house, Jim has hung a new front door, tiled the entrance foyer, renovated the entire kitchen, renovated the master bath, finished the basement. Extremely clean. When the kitchen was redone, we went without use of the kitchen for a total of 1 day.
He is not as interested in the big projects anymore, and is becoming more interested in doing "handyman" type jobs. So yours might be a perfect fit.
One drawback to Jim: He has a pretty loyal base of customers who use him over and over, so sometimes he cannot get to a project for a few months out. He also lives in batavia, and would probably not be interested in doing work on the western side of town (We live in West Chester.)

Try Dwayne F. Schneider...I hear he's pretty good.

I have a guy too. Lives in Sharonville and is reasonable and does good work. He has done electric work for me, remodeled two bathrooms and done some carpentry type of things. PM me if you want his number.
