We do something similar. But UD wants you to know they have a great home record lots of fans, and have beaten some BCS teams.

Don't even know where to start...

- Nationally ranked each of the last threee years...but not after actual games were played

- 10 wins over BCS (didn't know that was a hoops term)...many of which came in the NIT.

- Three consecutive post season apperances...highlighted by the Not Invited championship and super trendy black unis

- Juwan Staten...enough said (can there be any more pressure on this kid?)...has xavier ever used a freshman on their promoitonal video?

- 13,000+ fans a game...because really, what else would we be doing

- Brian Gregory...one of the best in the business...didn't say what business...maybe it was best at preseason awards and not living up to expectations

Talk about grasping for straws...

I find this humorous and sad at the same time. Why not just highlight your returning starters and be good with that? Maybe talking about home record and NIT; everything else is anecdotal.

Never seen a program put a freshman in such a position. Why set the kid up for potential failure? Since when to coaches and programs recruit based on having a top 20 recruiting class? I always thought you recruited based on a player's talent, team need, and style of play.

I just appreciated the idea of going to the postseason three years in a row.

That's a great accomplishment. Sort of like going to the Sweet 16 three times in a row.

Or for me, going on a date with the same woman three times in a row.

Three is the magic number. Good job Dayton!

I agree with the humor in some of the things they highlighted for their program, however I will give credit where credit is due.

Aesthetically, that was a very well done video. Crisp, good game action, and some very good use of the black-and-white with selected color concept. So well done to the production team, not so well done to the creative team....

I guess the people making the video aren't opposed to just outright lying to help get people pumped up either. . . the Dayton recruiting class wasn't ranked in the top 25 of rivals' rankings, much less the top 20. . .

With all due respect to those people who lead alternative lifestyles....

That was about as gay as an all weekend Glee marathon.

It just cracks me up how much they tout their fan base filled with puds.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not... but if you're not the post is pure genius.

I agree. I didn't even find the video to be well done. They just took clips of random home games, and ran dubious accomplishments across the video ("Dayton: #1 in attendance in the NCAA in Dayton, Ohio")

I actually thought the promo video where they walked across a tarmac with aviators on was better. Well, not really.

I find this very offensive... I like Glee. :p

Seriously though, what an awful video. It didn't even mention all of Dayton's Pre-Season A-10 Championships. Don't they have 2 in the last 3 years?

I'm not going to waste my time by watching it... but seriously can it compare to that stupid Red Scare video from last year?

Yeah, they outright lie, I'm looking at the rankings right now, dayton isn't even in the top 25. Do they have fact checkers or not? Those people...

I HATE dayton.

I admit that visually this promo is decent and that with the exception of the guy (#44) at the 29/30 sec. mark defending the inbound pass that seems to be in desperate need to go poop, it’s a good quality video. That’s as far as I’ll go ‘cause this is a deceiving promotion lacking substance and someone should file a complaint.

I guess whoever made this video also moonlights making political ads.

Alas, there is no truth in advertising anymore.
