QUESTIONS MAY BE BETTER THAN ANSWERS FOR GREGORY AT DAYTON

Brian Gregory is as interested as anyone to see how his Dayton team fares this season.

The Flyers lost four seniors – starters Marcus Johnson, Rob Lowery and London Warren as well as top reserve Kurt Huelsman.

But Gregory returns his top two leading scorers and rebounder - Chris Wright and Chris Johnson.

``It’s an interesting mix,” Gregory said. ``But we have a great foundation. There are going to be question marks, but we’ll iron those out as the year goes along.”

That’s completely different than was the case a year ago – when Gregory and his staff knew exactly what they had.

``We knew our strengths and weaknesses,” he said. ``And as much as you tried to mask them, when we didn’t play well, it was obvious why.”

If gregory would just state that it is his goal to become like Xavier, then I would listen to him.

Who is going to throw girl punches for Dayton?!?!?

as well as top reserve Kurt Huelsman.

Who is going to remain stationary in the paint for Dayton?!?!?

Top reserve? Wasn't the BWS a four-year starter?

That's what I thought. I think Goodman thought he was so bad he must have come into the games to give someone else he couldn't remember, a break.

I'm not sure the point of that article. I mean I'm all for UD getting weak effort on the part of journalists, but I don't see the point of even writing that.
