Check for more details later this week about a possible tailgate for fans before the game...

Nice poster shot of senior defensive back Dave Pergolini. The Muskies (2-1) are coming off an impressive come from behind win at So. Ill. Univ. at Edwardsville and they will be seeking to avenge last year's 14-7 loss at Miami's Yaeger Stadium in Oxford. Going into Saturday's game against SIUE (results unavailable), the Redhawks were undefeated (2-0) with an offense averaging close to 50 points a game. Coach Carty's Muskie defense will be tested in this game.
Every game so far in this series has been a closely contested battle and Saturday's game should be no different

What is the price of admission for these games? I would like to take my son to one.

The price is $5.00 for adults and I think kids might be cheaper like $3.00. Parking was free at Walnut Hills High School for the Hanover game and I expect it to be for the rest of the games as well. (You know some of my fondest memories are being a Junior Musketeer and going with my dad and brothers to watch Xavier play at the stadium on Victory Parkway. Whether it was the Quantico Marines or the Ron Jaworski led Penguins from Youngstown State, these games were always a good time. If your son is a Xavier fan and enjoys football, he will enjoy the Muskie gridders,)
I'd say so much so that I am fairly involved with the club team trying to promote attendnace at the games. The game is accessible and so are the players. If you come to a game, make a point of waiting afterwards to meet some of the players. Real good kids who play real good football.

Miami does come in undefeated after last week's win over SIUE in Oxford. Should be an excellent game and I understand that there will be tailgating allowed at Walnut Hills High School. Great entertainment at a great price and Coach Carty has the Muskies ready to play!
