Have kind of started getting into this recruiting stuff. Haven't seen this guy listed. Please bump this post down if someone can do the little profile thingy with him. I've neither the time or energy...ok, just not the energy...I'm lazy.
I noticed that this kid was being followed/following (I still don't get this Twitter stuff) Mack, Steele and Kelsey, so there must be some kind of major interest there.
6'6", 165 lbs. SF from Winston Salem Prep.
Anyone got anything else on this kid?

Here's some video of Greg McClinton. He has a nasty first step. Check out what he does at the 1:10 mark.

He looks real solid. Hard to believe he's only a sophomore in high school wow!

Let's get an early commit from this kid.
Let's review:
Deacon?- New coach of questionable value.
Hokie?- Seth Greenburg- the master of whining because his teams yearly choke that "just misses" the Dance.
Hurricane?- Miami is always known for Big Time College basketball and deep NCAA runs.
He did list "Musketeer" first. Top of mind?:)

Just saw his twitter page. Does not look like he is following any coaches outside of Chris Mack and Pat Kelsey.

I think DSR was the same for a loooong time (and might still be). Purvis may have been same deal. Obviously I would prefer having them following our guys instead of other coaches, but I wouldn't read too much into it.

Looks like a good one. Has good elevation, buth then he doesn't have much weight to elevate. :) I like the fact that we are getting into the picture early with some of these top recruits. If you reach for the stars, you won't come up with a handful of dirt.
Go get him Chris and Kels.
GO MUSKIES!

Prep’s leading scorer was the versatile Greg McClinton, who poured in 25 points for the Phoenix – including a pair of 3-point baskets. In just three quarters of action McClinton’s effort was good enough to lead all scorers.

This guy is in my top 3 on my wish list for 2013. Would be a great get.

This would be a huge get, this kid can slash his way to the hoop, and I like his size a lot.

The kid goes to Hargrave now, think that could help our case?

Was X still going hard after this kid or had they backed off? Seemed, at least for a little while, like he was a priority.

Xavier was always on his list, but he has not been a priority target for some time. There are a lot of other wings that are above him on the list. Greg has always been a big time athlete, but his shot and overall game has not really developed that much over the last year or so.
