PG Meija transferring from Rhode Island to Hofstra? Would've of been a junior. This has to hurt the Rams chances, unless the point coming from junior college is a real player.

It's also being reported that forward Tashawn Mabry has left Rhody for personal reasons.

Rhody is sort of falling apart. Baron's own kid doesn't even want to play for him.

You have to wonder what is happening there given that the team would have had a chance to compete for an NCAA tourney birth this year. Probably wouldn't have happened but it was possible. This probably hurts the league more than it ruins their chances for a tourney birth in that RI would have been solid in the non conference and now might struggle which will lower the RPI profile of the league.
