It is amazing to me that the top tier NFL teams all challenge Manchester United for most valuable sports property. Of course that will all change if a work stoppage occurs when the current CBA expires.

It's really, really hard to judge the worth of sports franchises. There's little public info.

I wouldn't take this too seriously.

I think it's cool that my Browns are #15 despite being crappy ( anddormant) for more than a decade and having limited appeal in the merchnadsiing department based on ugly colors. (Not ugly to me and fellow browns fans, but ugly as a fashion possibility!) And limited corporate resources in a depressed NE Ohio.

I will disagree with you that it is skewed. A business that owns its own facilities will be valued more then one one with equal sales and market that leases it's facilities. A stadium is an assest, just like a store front or production plant. Those teams that own their stadium shave larger assets and owners equity, which in return gives them a greater value.

Don't the Redskins get sick of that view of the Cowboys?
