Indiana, Butler, Purdue and Notre Dame agree to in-state round robin type tourney

I think it's time to revisit an exempt, 8 team, Ohio-Kentucky tournament for basketball supremacy.

Highest 4 RPI teams from Kentucky and highest 4 RPI teams from Ohio the year before square off to determine supremacy for the year.

Would western and murray be good enough on a year to year basis?

Why are you trying to exclude UD and UC?

I think it is just a double headers. I haven't read anything locally that suggests the winners of the first two games will face each other.

The old Big Four Classic in Indy used to be awesome. Louisville vs. ND and Kentucky vs. Indiana one year and Louisville vs. Indiana and Kentucky vs. ND the next. Short lived, unfortunately.

You are correct, sir. Doubleheaders. How much would a ticket to the best of KY vs the best of OH go for if they did it every 4 years or so?

If you used last years Cbssports RPI it would be:

1 UK
8 UC

4 UL
5 Kent St

3 Ohio State
6 Dayton

2 Xavier
7 Murray State

THIS WOULD ROCK.
