Pretty cool article on the Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/08/08/AR2010080801558.html) about D. West, 44, and a smorgasbord of other NBA stars (past and present) hooping it up for injured soldiers in DC yesterday.
That's a classy event and I'm sure all of them had a great time.

With Obama having the White House to himself for a day, I wonder how many brews were consumed in the White House that day.
I remember back in the Bush days he would get criticized on her for doing anything that wasn't work related.
Isn't there a lot of serious problems in our country. How in the hell does the President have time to hoop it up? :)

Do you realize how much money we save (or how much less the future generations don't have to pay back) every time he takes a day off? I'd be in favor of more basketball and less of Barack trying to fix problems.

Having an alcoholic father, hopefully Obama didn't drink too much. Just stick to the cigarettes.

I'd rep you for that but apparently have to spread it around before giving it to you again.
I'm not his biggest fan but it's hard to imagine playing sports with the Prez wouldn't be cool.

I bet BHO picked his pocket on the court. If not, he will do it later through the Internal Revenue Service.

Wearing a baseball cap on the basketball court,
how gangsta.

If there is a negative political angle to any basketball story, count on 95 to find it. If it isn't there, it's still there.
For the record, Bush is winning, 120 vacation days to 65 for Obama at the same point in both administrations.

Hypothetical... does the President ever really get a vacation?

Well, Emp, it still appears BHO and Marie Antoinette are vacationing themselves into a one term stay in the White House. Thank God!

I think it's great that D West got to play with the president.
