Anyone here use these apps on their phone?

I use foursquare quite a bit.

The closest I use to those is yelp! I don't like the social networking aspect of those apps, and while yelp! has that tendency, it doesn't force it on you like the other two.

I regularly use foursquare as well. Two things I like:
- Seeing where my friends have been - Can ask them about a restaurant, museum, etc. to see what they thought
- Checking in at the same place as a friend but didn't know we would both be there - Have met up for lunch, Reds game, etc.

Certainly not for everybody though.

I use foursquare a lot. One problem though is sometimes you become the mayor of the place you don't really want...like oh, I dunno...a hospice and an IHOP. Or even a Home Emporium...

Or church, the post office and Walgreens. I hear you Thor.

But being mayor of Xavier is nice, and it's sweet when you're mayor of someplace good like Quatman's or Arthur's (or Dana's or Donna's).
