Isiah Thomas Back to NBA while still coaching college

Still going to coach college too... something that seems INAPPROPRIATE in this one even if you look past Thomas' last dabble with the Knicks.

Apparently he checked with the NCAA and it is allowed. He isnt doing anything real heavy here with the Knicks. Basically advising and giving opinions when asked.

Now the real question I want to know, especially as a Knicks fan, is why the hell we need Isiah Thomas on as a consultant? I hate that guy. He ran the franchise into the ground, why do they need his opinion? James Dolan apparently stayed close with Isiah and this is why. Well James Dolan is an idiot. The only thing Isiah did half decently is his time with the Knicks was draft. He does have an eye for talent. However he ruined that by offering terrible contracts to mediocre players already in the NBA.
