Cincinnati. Ohio at the Cintas Center
Time: TBD

Meet Georgetown College: Xavier University kicks off it's 2007-08 men's basketball exhibition schedule against Georegtown College, a Christian liberal arts college located Georgetown, Kentucky. The Tigers completed the 2006-07 season with a stellar 29-4 record, finishing 10-0 in the Mid-South Conference. The Tigers entered post-season play as the Third Seed in the NAIA Tourney, but were upset by Xavier University of Louisiana Gold Rush in the first round. The Tigers ended the season ranked #3 in the NAIA.

Coming into this game, the Tigers will already have completed two games (against Asbury College and the University of Louisville) in the 2007-2008 season.

The Tigers lost three Seniors to graduation along with 39.2 points per game. JR PF Donnovan Brown returns and inherits the title "Leading Scorer". Brown averaged 9.5 points per game last season while his 6'9 frame allowed him to pull down 7.4 boards per game. Brown's Cintas Center debut will be a homecoming of sorts as he hails from Dayton, Ohio, a mere thirty minutes or so up the road.

Wow. After reading a little about Georgetown, they seem like stiff competition (for an exhibition game at least).

Has Xavier played them before?
