I'm looking to sell off several things, and part of that is a portion of my Xavier collection.

I have in this bulk group.

Bobble head of Chalmers
Bobble head of West
Sato signed floor piece
Sato signed photo 8x10 (framed)
Chalmers signed photo 8x10 from Louisville NCAA game (framed)
2nd Chalmers signed photo 8x10 (framed)
West signed 8x10 from epic game @ St. Joes his Sr. year--pictured with Jameer (framed)

My favorite: Senior night o4 signed by Sato, Myles, and Chalmers (all 3 in picture at presentation). (framed).

B. Grant Jersey
J. Posey Jersey
D. West Jersey

multiple signed cards and old programs/newspaper clippings.

I gotta hold onto a few pieces, but what could I possibly get out of that, and where would be the best place to try to move the collection. Secondly, would selling it as a set work better, or better individually?

I'm selling a lot of this stuff to help pay for some of my wife's treatment and it sux, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I hate to do it.

Im also selling a DMB autographed accoustic signed by the whole band before Le Roi died with COA, and I expect that to be the best seller. Just sold a Dylan autographed guitar which really helped.

Thanks for any advice.

Too bad a certain doorknob from an unnamed Atlanta hotel isn't up for sale.

Sorry to hear about what you're going through. Tough times for many, but your family is in my prayers especially.

I'd say put out some feeler ads on Ebay and craigslist...see what bites. You don't have to sell automatically...just get a sense of the price range. Package a few items in bulk, just to see if it garners an increased price, but don't sell until you are ready.

Thanks for the thoughtfulness. She's not in a terminal state or anything by any means, but just goes on and on and on. Just gotta prioratize, and hell, pictures or plenty of groceries and gas and my kid continuing fun activities. It's a pretty easy choice.

I agree with the Ebay and Craigslist route. Maybe package a few of the smaller, less big ticket items together but the big time items, I would sell solo. Also, when you do list them, be sure to put a link on the various websites so that alot of X fans know they are for sale. May help increase the bids....Good luck and hoping for good health for your wife....

Good luck with everything. I think you will have much more luck going ebay or Craigslist as has been mentioned.

Definitely sell the pieces seperate. If you package the whole deal together, you won't get nearly as much. Like sash said, maybe group the smaller stuff together if you don't want the hassle of tracking all those items individually.

And by all means, advertise them on here and Musketeer Madness wherever you decide to sell them. You've got your best customers right here.

Are the Grant, Posey and West jerserys authentic? I'd be interested in one if they are.

Certainly post them here, or links if you put them on ebay or craigslist.

Craigslist is going to be better if you have a set price in mind, ebay if you're totally unsure about the price.
