That's going to leave a mark. Now it makes sense why Carroll bolted for the NFL.
The loss of 10-12 schollies in FB will hurt a program. Hard to imagine with the loss of 30 will do.

But if programs like Alabama and Miami are any indicator, they'll be back in about 5-10 years.

This is a slap on the wrist. If the NCAA really wanted to tag them, in addition the penalties already imposed, it should fine them heavily. USC might get stung a little, but it'll be bounce back in a few years.
Sidenote, I never understood the concept of vacating wins. You can't undo something that's already happened. Just don't see the point.

I never thought it was right to vacate a teams wins. Normally its just one stupid coach or athlete who screws up and all the kid's that work hard all year are punished for it. I just don't think it's the right thing to do. I never have. It just seems like you're hurting the student athletes more than anyone else.
