Michigan Transfer???

Anyone remember the freshman point guard for Michigan that lit Xavier up with 22 points this past year. I don't remember a while lot besides thinking she was super quick and skooled our guards on many occasions. She actually made the game winning layup that gave Michigan the victory. Well anyways, she is transferring from Michigan to move closer to home and she is from Cincy. How awesome would it be for Kevin to grab this young lady. We can all hope because she was truly special to watch. Here's the article.....

Good find on that article "fan" I remember seeing her numbers while at Winton Woods, never saw her play as we had moved by the time she started playing HS ball. Certainly lit up the tristate, would be interesting to see her in Xavier blue starting in 11/12.

I wonder though if it's just a matter of coming home that's her issue. So many players get that big taste of D-1 ball and get the feel that it's way more than they bargained for. It really takes dedicated strong willed young women to be able to put that kind of energy out 12 months a year for an entire college career.

I would love to have her on our team, as Special will be gone after this season. I'm sure McGuff would love to have her too. The problem is that I don't think we have any scholarships to give.......

You are correct. You know, I just noticed that Courtney Townsend is not on next year's roster. I can only assume that she is transferring out. That is where the extra scholly came from. Townsend was a PG and Hollins is a PG... the plot thickens.....

Yea, I was pretty sure she was transferring but not 100% so I didn't want to say anything. It's like a match made in heaven. Hollins = Xavier.... Sounds good to me.

All I really remember is that the girl could ball...

In regards to having a scholarship open for the Hollins girl. The 2010-11 women's roster was just put on the Xavier website. Courtney Townsend the freshman point guard last year is not on the roster. She apparently transferred out so we may have a scholarship open.
