Dang it! The faster that kid slides into the expected Duke to NBA mediocrity the better...

You aren't impressed by the DNPs next to his name in the recent box scores?

Makes me quiver (spelling) looking at those DNP's.

I would gladly take the DNP's if I could bank 450K/year. I really don't think he would have gone any higher with the class that is coming out this year. He made the right choice last year.

I love when people compare an athletic basketball player and their money to themselves.
That is a good point though. The draft this year is stacked to say the least.
I hope Crawford realizes that.

That's a good point. A player in this year's draft could move up 10-15 spots come next year without being any better due to the over abundance of players coming out this year. That is of course if they do have a draft come next year.

I don't have a good feel for 2011 yet, but this draft feels fairly weak compared to 2009. John Wall is a no-brainer, but there's a lot of question marks after that.

The question is...is the NBDL better than going to school? I would venture to guess that the majority would answer yes.
Anyone know what those guys get paid? I'm guessing $50-100K, depending on the circumstances?

Somebody send this article to Crawford.
If he wanted to learn about life in the D league he could just ask his brother Joe.
I am fully confidant Crawford will make the right decision, even if it is not the one we like.
