Ok, really.

Call me a conspriacy theorist about B-Espn again, but...

....Hasn't the NIT always been on the main ESPN and any women's tourney games on ESPN2? Well, tonight, the dump/Ole Miss game is on ESPN2 and the UCon women's game is on the main ESPN. A small thing, maybe, but there are two A-10 teams in this thing tonight and it sure seems like the four letter network wants to minimize A-10 exposure.

Am I losing my mind or is there something to this?

Does it really matter? Is there anyone who has espn who doesn't have espn2? It won't stop anyone from watching who wanted to watch and I don't think any less people will "stumble" across it then if it were on espn. At this point espn and espn2 are essentially the same, just different in name.

pretty sure you're losing your mind MOR. Probably set a long time ago that Women's would be on ESPN and NIT on the deuce. Also the 2nd game features UNC so it isn't like they are putting it on ESPN2 because there aren't any big names left.

This. I think you are stretching some MOR. I have a feeling that even if there were some conspiracy against the A-10, the whole North Carolina thing would even that out....

It was a PC thing to do. Most taxi cab depots have ESPN playing 24/7. ESPN didn't want to create another "international incident".

Wow, ESPN has to be thrilled at the prospect of an all-A10 final. Plenty of time for URI to blow it, though.

URI is choking in the freaking NIT. Fellas, it's the NIT! There's no reason to choke! It doesn't matter enough to choke.

Your grasp of the verb tense concept needs some work.

Well URI really blew that game. You don't miss four free throws toward the end of a close game and come out a winner.

I tried watching the UD-Ole Miss game and of course fell asleep while watching. I must have a subconscious thing going on that I cannot stay awake for an entire UD game (when they are not playing Xavier) ever.

Well URI it could have been all A-10 NIT final.

URI has nobody to blame but themselves. That was some piss poor basketball by both teams. Missing 4 straight free throws down the stretch is nobody's fault but URI's.

Dayton is out there passing us as a program. I mean, winning (or at least having a commanding lead in) a game against the defending national champs in April? How can we compete with that?

We can't. I mean we lost to a team who wasn't even in the NCAA tournament last season and they're out there beating up on friggen UNC. UNC! :)

Of course, right on cue Dayton starts out the second half pulling a Dayton.

Flyers are kings of the NIT! I'm sure this is better than actually making the NCAA tournament.

Chris Wright has champions in that locker room.

By the way, I'd love to visit the Dean Dome next year and see if UNC is proudly flying an NIT runner-up banner.

My son and I broke out the "Jimmy Carter" chant for the last minute of the game.

Ok, so he's only 9 months old...so it was pretty much just me.

Thanks for not embarrassing the league.
