Both Katie and Dee Dee had excellent games last night in my opinion. They should get as much credit for last night's blowout win as Amber and Ta'Shia. Katie seems to have gotten a second wind the last 2 games and is really shooting well right now. We'll need her to have another good game against Stanford.

I agree. We have to be able to score some three's to keep the double teams off of Amber and Ta'Shia. Also when Special and Dee Dee can drive to the basket like last night it usually always results in a score because it enables Ta'Shia to crash the offensive board even if they miss. I was also very impressed with the perimeter defense of the guards and April last night which I think has been lacking at times this year.

I couldn't agree more. Dee Dee was agressive all night and really played well. Katie hit some huge shots in the second half and really stepped up. Moss really needs to pick up her game. Katie is rightfully taking a lot of her minutes because she has been so horrid on offense. I hope she can pull it together for tommorrow.

there was a point in the second half that Dee Dee got hammered under the basket, as I recall she was on D, and just got steamrolled, no call. From that point on she lit and was a fire cracker on both ends of the court, interestingly that coincided with X's run from the 29-29 knot.

Yes, those 2 are keys, but as all good teams are, there are a lot of keys on the ring. Stanford is a hell of a team, we need all 8 key players going 100% to open the door to San Antonio.

I agree, the outside shooting and perimeter defense is just as important as the Twin Towers.

Also, anyone else notice that Katie began shooting well when she took the headband off in the Vandy game, and then didn't wear it again in the Gonzaga game and continued her hot shooting!

The ladies are fun to watch. My wife is from CT (obviously a huge woman's hoops fan) and her sister just started at X this year. She bought us tickets to the woman's tourney last week and I have to say that it was the a great experience. The atmosphere reminded me a lot of going to games when I was a toddler with my Dad in the at the old Fieldhouse. Anyway, I just wanted to take the opportunity the encourage people to go to a game next year, I know we will.
