Congrats to the Xavier Women's Basketball team for a wonderful game plan and great execution. Could you imagine the school with not as many turnovers! Great game by the lady Muskies. Ta'Shia and Amber are something special. Speaking of Special, she had an amazing game, and I can't say enough about Katie Ruuuuuuuuutan!!!!

Way to make history ladies!!!

Shall we dare say FINAL FOUR!!!! Tough task ahead but I hold faith!

I think that game meant the world for a boost in Xavier's confidence for a tough game Monday night. Again, we know what T and Amber will bring to the table. The question is, can our guards keep nailing those jumpers and stay aggressive. Let's hope we fair better than Georgia:D

Congrats to Coach McGuff, his staff and all the players. They all stepped it up tonight and played as a team. Hope they get the respect they deserve now, good-luck against Stanford Monday night.

Congratulations indeed - only once in the 2nd half did Gonzaga look like they were going to mount a run to challenge Xavier. And now they get to take on one of the premier programs in women's BB in Stanford. They will definitely have the size down low to counter Amber and Ta'Shia and guards that can light it up from the outside as well.

Their only loss this year? UConn.

Especially to Coach K-Mac and his staff. So many times the sideline gets overlooked after a win, or series of wins. What they've been able to do all year long is fantastic. This game, they were able to tweak the game, and most importantly keep the focus on what had to be done. No panic, no frustration, no hanging heads, no wild explosions on the sidelines. This is what we have come to expect, and it works!

Great halftime adjustments by the coaching staff. The offense that really struggled the 1st half seemed to be able to do anything they wanted to the 2nd half and the 2nd half defense was the best I've seen from them this year by far. They totally shut down the Gonzaga point guard who was killing them the 1st half. Great job by Jennings on her.
These girls operate better after midnight. I'm glad I took a long nap beforehand so I didn't miss anything.
