One surprise in the books so far - Baylor knocked off Tennessee by 15 in Memphis earlier today. Duke is leading San Diego State 56-40 in the nightcap with 7:50 to play.

66-58 final in favor of Duke.

Here's a rarity - both Duke and Baylor will face off in the women's AND men's regional final.

UGA is getting trucked by Stanford - it's 37-15 Cardinal at the half. Barring a major collapse, the X-Gonzaga winner will face Stanford on Monday.

I think that the Elite 8 is the farthest we could realistically expect to go. It would take a monumental effort to beat Stanford, even with our height.

The only doubt in the 2nd half would be the final score - and that's now been resolved.

73-36 Stanford wins - talk about a defensive clinic in this one.

74-36 is the final score for UConn. To Mississippi State and Florida State, best of luck. I'm afraid one of you is going to have to win today.

Florida State wins 74-71; they're the next fatted calf for UConn.

Tonight has the only 1-2-3-4 regional (Nebraska v. Kentucky, then Notre Dame v. Oklahoma) in the tournament.

Too bad. I was hoping to see Mississippi State pull that one out. They're a fun team to watch.

And fittingly enough, the top 2 lose. It's amazing that UK could make the Final 4 and not involve Calipari. These Cats never got the memo that they were picked 11th in the SEC this year.

Dukies and Baylor have a battle going. thought BG was going to stuff and dunk her way to a blow out but Duke has adjusted well, so far. First half basically a wash
