Irrespective of how we feel about particular teams in our conference, it's great for the A-10 to have two of its teams in the NIT semifinals, and who could very well meet in the finals. Dayton beating Illinois on the Illini's home floor, coupled with Rhody beating VaTech on the Hokies floor is a real boon for this conference. I know the A-10 has its bottom feeders, but it's still great to see the competitiveness prevail, especially after Temple and Richmond lost in the first round of the dance.

Now, tonight the crown jewel of the conference gets its chance to continue to carry and wave the flag strong and proud.

The NIT and ESPN are going to be pissed if its an all A10 final at Madison Square. ESPN might tell the refs to call 30 fouls on RI and 2 on UNC.

Dayton has played pretty damn good basketball this week. It seems that Gregory's system turned them into a psychological mess during the regular season and if he let them play, they would have been a lot better.
