Kind of seems like a slap in the face to Xavier fans, most of whom live in the Eastern time zone. Hope nobody has kids who like XU women's basketball, either.

I know they don't want women's games conflicting with men's games, but this is kind of ridiculous.

Could it be that X fans will be flying so high to have the men in the Final Four that we'll be up late cheering on the women?! :logo:

It's the power of ESPN - granted, the games start at 6 PM and 8:30 PM Pacific time, but they're looking to avoid any conflict with the men's Elite 8 games taking place on the same day. Stanford-UGA will be the main draw earlier in the day, especially with Stanford's campus just about 60-70 miles away from Sacramento.

We talk about the men needing to adjust to the altitude in SLC - the ladies will probably leave on Thursday just to adjust to the time change.
